What are the Continuing Education (CE) requirements for a licensed real estate sales person in PA?
All licensed real estate sales persons are required to obtain 14 hours of mandatory continuing education during each two-year license period. Courses must be completed prior to the renewal deadline of May 31st of even-numbered years.
Can I take any CE courses?
Experienced Licensees
Licensees who are not renewing or taking CE for the first time and were licensed prior to December 1, 2021 are required to take the 3.5 hour state required course on Broker and Licensee Responsibilities as part of their mandatory 14 hours of continuing education.
New Licensees
Licensees who were licensed on or after December 1, 2021 and prior to December 1, 2023 are required to take two specific seven-hour modules detailed below.
- Seven-hour General Module
- Seven-hour Residential Module or seven-hour Commercial Module
