What are the requirements to obtain a real estate broker license in Pennsylvania?
- Must have completed a minimum of three years as a licensed salesperson
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Complete 240 hours of instruction in the following courses:
- Mandatory Courses
- Real Estate Law (30 hours)
- Real Estate Office Management (30 hours)
- Commission Developed Courses (Must take at least 3)
- Real Estate Finance
- Real Estate Sales
- Non-Residential Property Management
- Valuation of Income Producing Property
- Residential Property Management
- Valuation of Residential Property
- Residential Construction
- Remaining courses can be made up of commission-developed courses or approved electives
